This watercolor painting is of a snowman seeming to look up towards circling branches. It was done while I was still in high school.

This was part of an assignment in which perspective was to be a focal point. Using the snowman as a subject, I drew it from an unusual angle, looking upwards towards these branches closing in. It created a unique characterization of the snowman, that many people noted. It gave a certain hopefulness to the snowman, which made it a pretty inspirational piece despite the darkness of the branches. And all with just a snowman.
